Arqus Virtual Company Creation Challenge 2021

The finals of the Arqus Virtual Company Creation Challenge 2021 are coming up!

The Arqus Virtual Company Creation Challenge is back with its second edition. From 3rd to 9th May, on the Arqus website, people will have the chance to vote for their favourite business project among the 6 finalists proposed by Arqus Universities.

Led by the Université de Lyon, as head of the "Entrepreneurial University and Regional Engagement" Action Line, this challenge encourages students who are already open to entrepreneurship to implement the practical tools and knowledge learned through their local programmes on entrepreneurship.

Participating partner universities selected their best student team from their local programmes to participate in this common European final.

Together with local mentors, the teams have worked on their business model and created a short video pitch. This year the teams also get to participate in a common session that will serve as an icebreaker and where they will also get to work on the topic “From a fictional to a real project”.

Vote to help your favourite project win!

From 3rd May, the page for voting will be available for anyone to vote for their favourite project.

Public votes for the videos will count for 50% of the final score. A jury, made up of members of Arqus’ regional economic partners, will count for the other 50%.

The video with the highest score will win the competition and a chance to have mentoring sessions as well as a mobility visit to one of the Arqus’ partners, for a cultural and exploratory experience coordinated by the local entrepreneurship centre.

The finals have been programmed for the week of the 3rd May, coinciding with the activities organised for the Arqus Academy Week.
