The 6th Arqus Annual Conference took place in Maynooth under the theme “Voices of Impact”. The University of Graz was well represented.
What might practical European cooperation look like for university alliances? The approximately 300 participants at the Arqus Annual Conference addressed this and other questions. All nine partner universities sent representatives from a wide range of disciplines to the conference. The University of Graz was also present with 20 participants.
For three days, working group meetings focused on addressing challenges, exploring ideas and devising solutions. For three days, researchers, students and staff from across Europe shared their experiences. For three days, the focus was on the question and the aspiration for a sustainable Europe with strong university alliances.
The vice-chancellors of the nine Arqus universities also used the gathering to discuss current issues and made far-reaching decisions regarding the future of the alliance.
