"Balu" was represented in Padua

The Arqus International Innovators Award was presented in Padua. A start-up from Graz was also represented at the award ceremony.

With a record of more than 1,100 votes, the ARC Technica team from the University of Minho has won the Arqus International Innovators Award 2025. ARC Technica is a digital robotic workshop that produces prefabricated, sustainable and customisable wooden structures on site, making construction more accessible and scalable.

As winners of the Arqus International Innovators Award 2025, Francisca Aroso, Rui Reis and Rodrigo Chiesse from the ARC Technica team received the Start Cup Padova Final in Padua. Arqus congratulates the team on this success!

Balu competed for Graz

A team from Graz was in the running for the Arqus International Award: the start-up Balu had submitted a smart medication dispenser. Even if it wasn't quite enough to win in the end, the team is delighted to have taken part. After all, the team from Graz did win something at the award ceremony in Padua: valuable contacts!

Photos and videos of the competition can be found at this link.
