New Arqus micro-credential

MC creative thinking

Join the new Arqus micro-credential: Advanced creative thinking and communication

The programme focuses on advanced creative thinking and communication competences, enabling learners to generate, structure, and communicate ideas effectively across different contexts. It also promotes reflective and collaborative approaches to problem-solving and supports participants in adapting their communication to different audiences and purposes.

Creativity and communication are key 21st-century competences that contribute to innovation, teamwork and personal expression in academic, professional, and social environments.

Learning outcomes

By completing this micro-credential, participants will be able to:

  • Develop creative approaches to idea generation and problem-solving
  • Structure and present ideas clearly in oral and written forms
  • Adapt communication strategies to different audiences and contexts
  • Reflect on creative processes and improve collaborative communication practices
  • This course will be awarded 5 ECTS credits*

* Recognition depends on your home institution

Dates

  • From 11th May to 30th June 2026

Includes:

  • Online introduction session
  • 3-day in-person workshop in Aarhus (Kaospilot)
  • 3-week virtual creative challenge (individual or team-based)
  • Online reflection session

Important: The in-person workshop in Aarhus is mandatory and cannot be attended online

Who can participate?

This micro-credential is open to:

  • University students from all disciplines
  • Lifelong learners seeking to develop or update their skills
  • Individuals interested in strengthening their creative and communication competences
  • No prior specialised knowledge is required

Why take this micro-credential?

In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, the ability to think creatively and communicate effectively is essential. This micro-credential supports learners in developing these transversal skills, enhancing their adaptability, employability, and capacity for collaboration in diverse contexts.

Through this initiative, Arqus continues to expand its shared European offer of innovative short learning experiences aligned with societal and labour market needs.
