Register now: Complexity of Life Conference 2026

We are delighted to invite you to the ‘Complexity of Life 2026’ conference, which will take place from 7 to 10 September 2026 at the University of Graz. The focus will be on understanding complex life systems and the transitions that shape them: from developmental transitions through ecological regime shifts to social transformations.

Under this year’s theme, ‘Transitions: From Fundamental Principles to Global Challenges’, we will explore how life systems undergo change, reorganise themselves and transform. The conference will bring together researchers from various disciplines and foster creative, interdisciplinary exchange.
