The call for the 11th edition of the Arqus Cafés, which will take place from 6 October to 12 December, is open again! If you would like to become part of the Arqus Café family as a tutor, you can register here.
All Arqus languages are offered, but new languages are also welcome. Tutors support and guide the conversation in their first or native language and encourage participants in their learning. Tutors receive training, a guide, topics and strategies for leading the sessions, and in many cases two tutors per language work together. The cafés take place for one hour each week, and the selected tutors can offer their café at a time that fits their schedule.
The Arqus Cafés are informal events where students and staff can come together to practise under guidance. The cafés, which take place both online and in person, offer participants a relaxed environment where they can improve their language skills and expand their cultural understanding without the pressure.
