Lecture on 3 April: How is AI changing linguistics?

As part of an Arqus Twinning project between the University of Graz and the University of Leipzig, Christopher Pollin's lecture on 3 April can be listened to online.

Humanities and AI - how do they go together? Expert Christopher Pollin will answer these and similar questions in his lecture "Generative AI and Prompt Engineering" on 3 April. He will discuss why the use of artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing the teaching of language and linguistics. Christopher Pollin will take a close look at the use of generative AI with a special focus on prompt engineering and the applicability of LLMs for corpus linguistics.

The good news for all those interested: The lecture will be broadcast online on 3 April from 9 to 10.30 am. Participation is easily possible under this link.
