Feedback is important, but feedforward is essential
20 November 2025, 14-16 hrs
Most teachers give learners feedback on their work and contributions in class. However, there is a big difference between feedback on what has happened and feedback that is useful and relevant to improve learners' performance in future activities. Feedforward adds key elements to traditional feedback so that it is forward-looking and an active element to improve performance. This session explains what feedforward is and why it is an important complement to feedback. Participants will receive guidance on how to incorporate feedback into lessons in all subjects.
