Language courses in Ireland: Perfect English for everyday working life

If you want to improve your English for a professional context, you've come to the right place. Maynooth University is once again offering language courses in the summer.

For all university staff wishing to improve their English language skills, Maynooth University is offering intensive micro-credentials courses this summer. Each course lasts two weeks. Classes take place Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm. Arqus members receive a discount on the course fees. 

Course 1: ESAP1 Improving English-Medium Educational Practice 

This training course is aimed at anyone who teaches in English at a university or plans to do so in the near future. 

Date: 11 to 22 August 2025

Course 2: ESAP2 Advanced English for the EMI Classroom 

ESAP2 is an intensive course for all academics who want to improve their written and spoken English in order to work better internationally.

Course 3: ESAP3 English for Professional Services Staff at Universities 

This course is a new offer. The foreign language lessons are aimed at various university staff who communicate in English in different professional contexts.
