New episode: Maximilian Lakitsch from the University of Graz as a guest on the Arqus podcast

Poster

The new edition of the Arqus Knowledge Pills is online! This time, the podcast focuses on the topic of peace.

In the latest episode of the Arqus Knowledge Pills podcast with Maximilian Lakitsch (University of Graz), the most burning questions surrounding war and peace are explored and the meaning of peace is rethought. They discuss how ecological realities are inextricably linked to political and social dynamics and how a truly sustainable peace could succeed.

This episode is about the understanding of peace as it evolves across cultures and times, why it should be seen as an ongoing process and not a final state, and the role that Europe plays in peacekeeping today.

Arqus students who want to delve deeper into the topic of peace beyond the podcast will have the opportunity to enrol in the Master's module "International Peacebuilding and Conflict Transition" at the University of Graz from autumn 2025 (duration: 2 semesters; in attendance)
