Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of our society. However, many people often lack knowledge about it. But that can now be easily changed! Because the University of Graz is offering a micro-degree - with a new curriculum starting in the winter semester 2025/26.
The "Artificial Intelligence and Society" programme at the University of Graz offers a free additional qualification that sheds light on the impact of artificial intelligence on different areas of our lives. The programme imparts knowledge and practical skills relating to AI and the areas of technology, ethics, law, business and education. The aim is to understand AI systems, use them responsibly, scrutinise them critically and play an active role in shaping them.
Artificial intelligence as a free elective subject
In a total of three modules, 16 ECTS can be acquired within 2 semesters. Students who complete all the associated courses receive a certificate. The Mirco-Degree is not tied to a specific degree programme. It is open to all students who wish to study AI as part of their free electives.
