Arqus intensive summer Italian language course

The University of Padua Language Centre (CLA) will offer intensive Italian language courses from 9 to 20 September 2024 (see details below). The University of Padua is reserving two places for students from each of the Arqus member universities who will participate in the Erasmus+ mobility project at the University of Padua (2024/25 academic year).

Students must apply by 12 July by filling in the following form.

The first two students who apply from each partner university will be selected and contacted to complete the registration.

Please note: The University of Padua Language Centre (CLA) will cover all costs related to participation in classes and cultural activities. However, the participants are in charge of their own accommodation, travel and meals. For further information, please contact us at: arqus.cla(at)unipd.it

Details of the intensive Italian language summer courses:

  • Course dates: 9–20 September 2024.
  • Course type: The courses will be held in the classroom and are primarily intended to help students develop their speaking skills and other language and cultural skills they need for their daily life in Padua.
  • Levels: PreA1, A1, A2, B1, B2.
  • Number of hours: About 35 hours including • 30 hours of language classes and exercises • 2 cultural activities in Padua (tbd).
  • Classes schedule: Monday to Friday, 2.5 hours per day (students will be contacted in late August and asked to choose the time they prefer from a short list of options).
  • Important! Participants will not obtain ECTS credits by attending the intensive summer courses, even if they pass the final test.

"AI and Society": Virtual Mobility option for Arqus students

Do you want to understand how artificial intelligence works and spice up your degree programme with a special qualification? At the University of Graz you will learn all this in the additional module "Artificial Intelligence and Society". At the end, you will not only receive 16 ECTS credits, but also an internationally recognised certificate for the skills you have acquired. Good news for all those who have always wanted to learn Portuguese: A beginners' course will be offered again from mid-May!

Refugee Girls: Film screening and discussion

The UNI-ETC organises the screening of the film "Refugee Girls" and a following discussion as part of an Arqus ad hoc bottom-up initiative dealing with the integration of refugees at Arqus universities.
