How do university alliances work in practice? And what can they achieve? Over 30 alliances will be taking a closer look at this at the EAIA_Conference. Arqus will also be represented there.

Over 35 alliances representing more than 300 higher education institutions will gather in Gothenburg from 9-12 September 2025 for the EAIE Conference 2025. The programme includes more than 20 sessions, including a special FOREU4ALL event that will explore the impact of the European Universities initiative on the future of higher education.

The European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference is the most important event on higher education in Europe and the second largest in the world. It was last held in Rotterdam (2023) and Toulouse (2024). This year sees a record participation of 35 European higher education alliances, which is double the number of participants from 2024.

Information and exchange

In line with this year's theme "GO-create", FOREU4ALL and the participating alliances will present their approaches, results and impact in more than 20 sessions. Arqus will actively participate in this event with a stand in Gothenburg where visitors can learn more about the alliance.

The Arqus team will provide key information about its initiatives, including opportunities for student and staff mobility, joint academic programmes, research collaborations and activities to promote multilingualism and integration at the partner universities.

Further information and the full conference programme can be found at this link.
