Arqus Café: Tutors wanted for language courses!

Danke in vielen Sprachen

The summer edition of the Arqus Cafés has just come to an end. After this successful year, however, the organisers are not just sitting back. The next round of language cafés is already in the starting blocks - and they are still looking for tutors!

This semester, the Arqus Café celebrated an important anniversary: it was the tenth edition of the successful programme. This milestone was celebrated on Europe Day (9 May) with a special edition of the café.

But this celebration was of course not the only highlight of the 10th edition of the language café: weekly language courses were held from 10 March to 30 May. This time, Arqus was able to offer 13 languages in 31 cafés. There were a total of 347 registrations for the 31 language courses. The result: many enthusiastic participants and tutors!

In the starting blocks

The next edition of the online language courses will take place from 6 October to 12 December. It will start with another big event: the "Arqus Language Dive" on the European Day of Languages on 26 September.

This will offer a "dive" into a range of languages so that participants can familiarise themselves with new languages. We are still looking for volunteers who would like to offer a language crash course in their mother tongue. Registration is possible until 30 July under this link!

Tutors wanted!

If you don't just want to give a crash course in your native language, but would also like to be a tutor for a semester, you can apply for this at this link! Registration as a course participant will be possible in autumn.
