The University of Graz invites everyone working as well as eveyone interested in Arqus to an inter-universuty exchange.
Expect exciting keynotes and plenary discussions around the Alliance's joint activities, focused on the core themes of education, research, innovation, culture, community engagement and global networking.
The European Higher Education Alliance Arqus brings together the universities of Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius and Wroclaw. The main goal of Arqus is to develop, test and implement an innovative model for deep inter-university collaboration that will serve as the basis for a true European Campus and meet all the requirements of a 21st century university.
We invite interested staff and students to participate in the open sessions in the Aula of the University of Graz:
Tuesday, 04.April
09:15 - 09:45 Official opening of the event by Rector Peter Riedler and Arqus Coordinator Dorothy Kelly
09:45 - 10:45 Plenary discussion on the topic of human rights and the question of what Arqus can do to strengthen them.
Wednesday, April 05
11:00 - 13:00 Presentation of the Arqus Teaching Award, the teaching award for innovative teaching.
The sessions will also be live-streamed on the Arqus YouTube channel.
