Arqus partner universities

The University of Granada is a public, comprehensive research university founded in 1531. Its 27 faculties and departments and 124 departments offer 92 bachelor's, 112 master's and 28 doctoral programmes, organized in three comprehensive doctoral schools, covering all areas of knowledge.

The university was founded in 1409 and is one of the oldest in Europe. Leipzig University comprises 14 faculties with over 130 institutes. Around 460 professors and more than 2,800 academic staff research and teach at the university.

Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 is a place of academic excellence with a dual objective: to provide excellent training and research opportunities in line with current social expectations and changes. Lyon 1 is one of the 100 most innovative universities in the world (Reuters ranking) and has built solid and lasting relationships with companies as part of its proactive policy of promoting and partnering research.

Maynooth University is an internationally recognized institution located 25 kilometers outside of Dublin, Ireland and is the fastest growing university in the country. Maynooth University, one of four constituent universities of the National University of Ireland, was ranked first in Ireland in the current Times Higher Education (THE) Best Young University Ranking in 2022.

The University of Minho is a young, thriving, comprehensive university in Portugal, covering a wide variety of academic fields. It is strongly committed to internationalization and welcomes thousands of foreign students every year - whether degree or mobility students - from more than 80 countries.

Founded in 1222, the University of Padua is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Europe and has always had a large and vibrant international community of staff, students and alumni. Padua is currently one of the 250 best universities in the world and is also ranked as the best university in Italy for teaching and research quality by the National Evaluation Agency for University System and Research.

Founded in 1579, Vilnius University is Lithuania's leading academic institution and ranks among the top 20 universities in the region (Emerging Europe & Central Asia QS University Rankings 2020) and among the top 400 worldwide (QS).

Founded in 1702, the University of Wrocław is one of the 10 best Polish universities. It is the only university in south-western Poland to qualify for the Excellence Initiative - Research University program.
